Anyone fancy some wild swimming in Kerry? With so many beaches, rivers and lakes to chose from, you’re simply spoilt for choice!
If you needed an excuse, the Caragh Lake Challenge is just a month away and entries close 13th of August. A fab opportunity to swim the length of this awesome and unspoiled lake. It’s non-competitive and there are two entry options of either an 8km or 4km swim.
So what more of an excuse do you need to jump right in?
You can complete the challenge either with or without a wetsuit, but you must be a confident open water (lake) swimmer. If you’re attempting the 8km swim, you must have completed a swim of at least 4.5km. For the 4km swim, you must have completed a swim of at least 3km.
If you fancy organising a group and staying at the house, we’re offering a 20% discount on published rates for participants that weekend, so get in touch.
Here’s some coverage from last year and the Eventbrite page for 2016 registration.
We’ll be on the water, so see you there.
